How to extend the service life of sand dryer production line

Release Date: 24-12-2024

The sand dewatering and drying system is an important component of the sand washing production line. The efficiency and service life of the sand dryer directly affect the efficiency of sand dewatering production. Let's take a look at how to extend the service life of the sand dryer drying system from the manufacturer of the river sand dryer.

1. After installing the newly purchased sand dryer, it is necessary to conduct an empty machine test run for no less than 4 hours in order to detect any abnormal situations during the test run and promptly address them. After the trial operation is completed, tighten all connecting bolts again, check and add sufficient lubricating oil. After the trial operation is normal, the load test can be carried out.

2. Due to the need for a certain preheating process during the use of the sand dryer equipment, it is prohibited to suddenly increase the fire after igniting the hot air stove to prevent local overheating. Because this is likely to cause damage due to uneven thermal expansion. At the same time, the fuel combustion value, the insulation quality of various parts of the sand dewatering dryer cylinder, and the uniformity of feeding all affect the quality of sand after dewatering and drying. So, when using a sand dewatering and drying system, we try to ensure that all parts can reach a good working state as much as possible to improve production efficiency.

3. When working in the sand dewatering and drying system, the supporting wheel frame should be filled with cooling water, sufficient lubricating oil should be added to each lubrication part, and wet sand should be gradually transported to the main machine of the drying system according to the preheating situation. During this process, it is necessary to constantly observe the moisture content of the discharged material in order to adjust the feeding amount at any time.

4. If there is a sudden power outage during the operation of the sand dewatering and drying system, we must immediately turn off the hot air stove and stop feeding. Rotate the cylinder half a circle every 15 minutes until it cools down. When the sand dewatering and drying equipment needs to be shut down, the hot air stove should be turned off first, and the equipment itself should continue to rotate until it cools down to near the outside temperature before shutting down. Be careful not to park at high temperatures to prevent the cylinder from bending or deforming.
